It sucks to care about people... it sucks when you try your damdest to make their life better, even though it completly messes with your emotions and your life... it sucks when they stop talking to you slowly.. just little by little... and you sit back and bite your tongue till it bleeds because god knows you can't say anything about it. It sucks when their so bloody happy.. and your not the reason...

I totally understand. You don't want to abandon your oldest friends, but it's depressing when you know they aren't as emotionally vested in the friendship as you. You end up feeling used.
