OH MY... where to begin... i guess at the beginning would be best..

There isn't really a "scene" in my town as far as shows goes anymore.. Thanks to one asshole who thinks he's the fucking king of Stroudsburg.. His production company (fucking a why does everyone need a company to run a fucking show these days) East Coast Independent.. or E.C.I for short.. runs this place in town called the Sherman theater... they have some exclusive contract with the owner making them the only people who can through shows there... which is totally lame. They make all the bands sell tickets (something that i hate) and if they don't sell they're 50 tickets chances are the band won't get to play the show or they play first and more likely then not they aren't getting paid at all, no matter how many tickets they sell..

So my friends and I got pissed... see we use to be friends with this dude.. my boyfriend played in a band with him a few years back until he double crossed us and well.. THATS AND ENTIRE DIFFERENT STORY.... but anyways.. we got sick of this shit and try throwing our own shows.. well this dude wouldn't have any of it and was sabatoging us by calling the place we were throwing the show and claiming the bands were gang related and thats there was going to be fights and shit.. .so before the show even happened we got shutdown... FUCK

So since that time its been pretty quite... haven't heard to much nonsense from him.. thought he finally grew the fuck up (he's 28 by the way) and left us alone...Then this happens...

There is a kid who throws shows at the college in east stroudsburg.. he's a great guy, but lately he's been getting discouraged about show turn outs and was thinking about moving to philly.. This kid doens't make the bands sell tickets .. hell he doesn't even really charge for the shows.. its on a suggested donation policy which was totally rad, especially since he only would have about 3 bands play a show... it worked out sweet...

Well when E.C.I heard that this kid, Billy Mack, was going to quit throwing shows... The E.C.I scumbag decided to manipulate his way in and lend "a helping hand." Originally Billy agreed but after learning the facts about this asshole he quickly backed out gracefully. So thats it right? you think dude would go away ...

NO of course not... on East Coast Independence myspace page they continued to promote lastnights show as an E.C.I. Show. my boyfriend and the rest of the guys in the band (my brother included) messaged them several times and asked that JUST THERE NAME be removed from the site.. Everyone around here knows that The Holy Mess is very anti-E.C.I and they just didn't want their name on anything that had to do with them at all.. but of course just to be dicks they wouldn't take it off.. and started spouting some bullshit about "supporting the scene"

So... what do we do... sick of this assholes bullshit we design limited edition T-shirts for the show lastnight...

anyone familar with NoFX with notice this design right away... we thought it was appropriate and it was a good laugh... We gave these shirts away FREE last night so there couldn't be any trouble with us selling a shirt with his face on it..

all in all it was a pretty big hit with the kids at the show...

so we're stoked.. my girlfriends and i split the show early to grab a table at the bar.. and about a half an hour later my boyfriend and our friend keith who is the drummer from the band show up all hyped up on adrenaline..

apparently the fucking pussy waited until after the show was over and they boys were loading the van to show up and start some shit... calling out keith and my boyfriend (both of which played in bands with this dude and both of which got fucked over big time)

so dude is trying to act all tough and all knowing and all this shit and my boys weren't having any of it.. now keep this in mind.. earlier in the night my brother (who plays in the band) was being an idiot and jumped on some kids back... and then another person jumped on his.. and then other on his and they all came tumbling down and what happends but my brother dislocates his shoulder.. BEFORE THEY PLAY... he played a whole fucking set with a dislocated shoulder... immediately afterwards we made a sling out a t-shirt and was trying to get him home when this shit happened...

Now i wasn't there for this and i'm extremely pissed.. especially when this dude was trying to get my boyfriend to hit him by claiming he had sex with me.. thats when my brother (sling and all) pretty much lost it and they had to stop him from going after this asshole... mainly because he carries a gun... what a nice guy huh?

in the end... the boys told him what was up and basically said to him thats he's a fucking joke and everything out of his mouth his bullshit... then they got in the van and left...

and that was my night... now.. i'm off to the Emergency Room because there isn't a fucking doctor around that will see my brother until tonight...
