After my Psychiatric Nursing class today, I have the vision that my whole clinical rotation at the mental hospital will be covered in semen. The whole class period she told us how the clients put their semen or vaginal secretions on things that we will touch. Like, chairs, magazines, door knobs, the nurses' desk. I think I will wear gloves the whole shift. Not that I see anything wrong with masturbation... that's DEFINITELY not it. I guess I just didn't think about this aspect of basic human needs that cannot be met any other way in an institution, and I guess it has to be wiped somewhere.
