Holy shit, this week has been amazing, thought entirely exhausting. I've literally been running around basically non-stop, but it all worked out because after my insane week of showings houses every single day I did end up writing a contract, which makes it all worth it.
I did manage to find a little time for myself, in the form of a girls night including vodka sours and tearjerkers, and this afternoon in the park with the boy, the dog, and some sandwiches. And the most delicious brownie I've ever had. It was a literal fudge brownie; it had that crusty, pale brownie top, but was like a giant piece of walnut fudge underneath.
It's the little (chocolate) things in life that make it worth it.
