When youre trying to learn a new language, its the little moments that really help - I actually had a whole conversation in Japanese with my waitress at my local Ramen place in Sydney. I used all the proper grammar, I kept up, I could understand everything she said - it felt comfortable and natural. Its minor, but its such a confidence booster. I really need to join a local Japanese club or something and try more conversation out.
