normally i would say neither when given the option of eating warm or cold shit..... and really deep down I think that anyone with the ambition to be president has some inherent flaw to them. like I just dont trust that....
Who would WANT that, seek it out? It cant just be someone who want to help and make it all good, because its such a corrupt system to get to that level your soul would already have been sold long ago... i dunno, maybe I am too much the cynic. i am voting,though... if only in the hopes of stopping at least one person from getting shot or blown up. (by the way dropping food aid packets in a country filled with landmines, thats fucking genius... any asshole can become an important decision maker) grr. go elm city!

Happy belated birthday. Yup, I was at Flux last Wednesday. Usually we sit to the left in the back corner when you come up the stairs.
i'm so absurdly full. my brother took me out for a "i have to work all night on your birthday" dinner. wings and beers and sandwiches. so good. so now i to sit here, fat, as 26 looms. damn.
i was helping a friend clean out his grandmother's house and found a 1946 copy of Orwell's Animal Farm. looks like the first edition from 1945 is worth about five grand and this one is going for about five bucks. i still think it's kinda cool to have a vintage copy of such a great book. i'll have to reread it now.

Hello! Ran into your journal entry. The bar scene is really weird, especially if you are sober, I whole heartedly agree. But I also met my boyfriend at a club, so, it's possible to connect to people, somehow! Neither of us were that drunk, though. It does take a leap of faith on somebody's part to make the first contact. That can be really nerve wracking! But eh, what have you got to lose? Maybe a bit of pride, but that heals.
