had a rockin' good time last night at the sg cabaret. the bands were killer, the ladies were gorgeous, and the beers were flowing. big shout out to all the people who made it happen. that was awsome. i'm a little dissapointed in myself for not meeting any new people, but that would have required talking to them. it was great to see a decent turnout of the social members of sgct. hope you can all make it out on wednesday.
highlights from the evening include, but are not limited to, preshow drinks at the lovely establishment next door, jed falling on his ass, grumpybear and cinderola getting looks from across the bar, grumpybear's rocket obsession taking over, and an entertaining ride home complete with me drunkenly singing and a truck stop shopping spree in the middle of nowhere. good times with some of my favorite people ever.
speaking of wednesday, i think that this week may be the last one for a while. i really have to break this habbit of showing up for work at noon on thursdays. i just can't enforce a last call because i'm having too much fun. so i figure that this week, with the holiday and all, would be a good opportunity to have a bit of a blowout. so i look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it. and maybe some new faces too.
mabe we can do a fri or sat night once or twice a month or something. suggestions are welcome.
