o.k.- so let me begin with this. i'm a meat eater. i enjoy consuming meat. i also associate barbeques with meat. ya' know- dogs, burgers, that sorta thing. well, this weekend i went to a vegitarian barbeque. if you ever get invited to one of these bring a sandwich.

now, mind you, i understand vegitarians and, to a certain degree, the vegiburger. but whoever came up with the tofu hotdog needs to be dragged out and shot. this is the most vile thing i have ever encountered on a bun. it's all squishy and i don't want to know how they make them that atrocious orange that i thought was only used for naugahide. and - what's the point of a hotdog without that natural casing snap?
utterly ridiculous.

at least i got to see some good friends, and was ahead in trivial persuit by 2 pieces o' pie when the game was abandoned because it takes friggin' forever. has anyone ever finished that game?

in other news- went to visit my grandpa in the hospital today, so that was depressing. he's recovering from heart surgery. they say he's doing much better and everyone seems positive about his recovery, which is great. but between the exhaustion and having tubes down his throat for days his speech is really hard to understand. it sucked, because he was trying so hard but i just couldn't understand a lot of what he was saying. i think it frustrated us both.

well- i guess that's about it for now- i need to go commenting.
