The day I sold my car and bought a good pair of sneakers was the day that replacing the brakes exceeded both my insurance premium and the blue book value of my 1994 GMC Jimmy. I hated the car so I was happy to be rid of it. With gas at 3.50 a gallon in the north east I think I am saving close to a three thousand dollars a year in maintenance, insurance in gas. Make sure you get paid for that in most states if they have you come in you get paid for 2 hours regardless. Which is probably why they asked you to "work"from 1-3. Tools. Read up on the labor law in your state, stick it to them, managers rarely know the law through and through, study up and stick it to them.
