I hate how whenever I go into Home Depot I get swamped by old men who are trying to "help me" with my home fixer-upper problem.


Last night our kitchen sink got all clogged up for some reason and nasty rotten broccoli started coming up through the drain and into the sink basin actually...I know why it's happening...because our upstairs neighbor uses his disposal and our disposals don't really WORK.


anyways, I went into Home Depot to buy a Sink Auger (pipe snake). I asked the guy where they were and he was like "do you think you can handle it? You have to put this part down into the drain...." and he started telling me how to use a freakin' pipe snake. Ok, just because I have a vag doesn't mean that I'm incompetent lol. Then he goes "yeah, that happens a lot, when a husband sends his wife out to buy something and she doesn't know what she's looking for"

UMMMM HELLO!!!! I knew what I was looking for hahaha I asked for it by name! Ughhh sorry, I just get really pissed when people assume that I know nothing about hands-on stuff. I mean, I AM the girl who ripped up a carpet, re-wired a furnace, and changes her own oil/tires/spark plugs/air filters.
