The day I sold my car and bought a good pair of sneakers was the day that replacing the brakes exceeded both my insurance premium and the blue book value of my 1994 GMC Jimmy. Make sure you get paid for that in most states if they have you come in you get paid for 2 hours regardless. Which is probably why they asked you to "work"from 1-3. Tools. Read up on the labor law in your state, stick it to them, managers rarely know the law through and through, study up and stick it to them.
