Life brings with it a lot of hurt. Pain, it comes into our lives in so many different ways. But why? What is the point of it? I know people say that it helps define your life by teaching you what not to do wrong. But what about the pain that you don't cause. Like the pain that is done unto you by others. There is no way for you to control that, but yet it has a deciding factor in how life defines your personality. I have to admit that some form of pain is good for the heart. It helps you learn the value of things. I've always believed that until you know pain, you can't value happiness. Just like light and dark, you can't understand one without knowing the existence of the other. Two halves of the same coin. But how little is good and how much is bad? Can you get to a point where too much pain becomes detrimental to your personality? What if you never experience enough pain to understand life.. Huh? Too big of a thought? Or am I just scratching the surface of something here?
None of it is really anything you can control.
It's like trying to tame the oceans... You can't.
