I Have been looking at getting another piece done on my left arm/shoulder - a half sleeve of lotus blossoms.
This was decided after a long thought process on what i should get next - having mostly small peices i wanted something that was meaningful to me...
My uncle gave me a book by James Clavelle for one of my birthdays and told me i really should read it and REALLY read it.

I obliged and found myself having a few "ah ha" moments throughout the book. I think this peice represents a lot about the bond i have with my uncle and that book that brought us a lot closer. The problem im having now is a more psychological/spiritual one - if i had to categorize it.

I know i could go to ANY number of tattoo artists and put out what i want and GET what i want and it would look great and were all happy... I think for me though that this ink would mean SO much that I want someone who understands the meaning of something like this being done...

I am often left wondering if anyone else has had the same thought? I know it seems strange... And i think walking into a place and being like "hey i want this because it means this" seems a bit strange to me you know?
