Well, now's as good a time as any to update, no? I'm not gonna get into the whole "OMGWTFBBQ V-Day blowz!!1" thing, there are plenty of journals where you can go read that.

I just sent in my application to transfer to a new school. Where I am now just isn't working out. Ya know, I don't want to spend my college years in my apartment alone because there's no one I interact with that I have anything in common with. I'm at a school full of people who have families and huge responsibilities like mortgages and shit to deal with, and I want to experience the whole "It's college, get drunk, play the scene, maybe fight a dude," thing. So, in the meantime I'll be moving back to Charlotte, and trying to land a job at the Apple Store.

I've been growing increasingly upset with the US as of late. For the past few months I've had this urge to just up and move to Canada in the back of my head because, while I've never been quite that far north, everything I've ever heard about the place makes it sound like a hidden paradise. I need to take a vacation up there and see what it's really like, so either that bubble can get popped or I can reinforce the desire to move there. My buddy had a great experience at some huge hotel (queen or embassy something or other) in Victoria, so he wants us to take a trip there for a week in the summer. Im sure we couldn't afford whatever place he stayed at, but I'm sure it would be a great time regardless.

I dunno... I need to concentrate on college for now, getting into the school I want to attend and whatnot. That and convincing the NC DMV that I didn't steal my car. ugh...
