7:00 in the post meridian: Layne storms through my door, she started her period so she is raging... drags me out of my comfy bed and makes me go to this pub called 'The Florida Room'. I know. Stupid name. Its ok, though. They played hiphop until the night bartender came in and promplty switched it to Johnny Cash, The Flaming Lips, and more....
So anyway, I sit here listening to PJ Harvey's new album White Chalk. I have listened to it three times today since monovox delivered it at 1 in the post meridian. I was pretty apathetic in my response to the album at first, and the second time through as well. But now, Its beautiful! But, I will let you in on a little secret:
one hot toddy (Maker's Mark bourbon, tea, honey, and lemon)
4 pints of Pabst Blue Ribbon
one Maker's Mark and ginger ale
2 bowls of good pot... a great number of cigarettes...

And to top it off... My roommate forgot her bank card at the pub! She had already put her pajamas on, so she made me go in and sign off on her tab. Now, I am very ripped. Or, as I would say in Italian 'sono stonata'. Or, 'sono fuori come un zerbino'. That translates to 'I am outside as a doormat.' I like it.
I must get some rest seeing as how my vacation is at an end... I work tomorrow at one, and I have and interview right when I begin work... I am applying to be the assistant manager... bum bum bum... this means that the bane of my existence is leaving! fuckng yahoooooo!

Lucille has gone from shy to bad-ass, at least with regard to other cats. She won't back down when Logan tries to steal her spot, and sometimes she even starts shit when he gets too close. That is HER fucking bed, dammit! Now it's not an issue so much . . . Logan won't even go up the stairs in his baby outfit. He's pretty weird.
I'm having a housewarming party on the 12th. Y'all want to drive allllll the way to Eugene and hang out with grad students? I'd love to see you, but I understand completely if you don't come.
