I just heard what may just be the best news I have ever received in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!
My roommate eli told me that his friend from atlanta has two tickets to the last sleater kinney show ever and he might not be able to catch a flight to portland for that very show! I really hope he doesn't make it. Oh boy I really want those tickets! I mean, it sure would suck for him if he can't make it but, fuck! I NEED those tickets!
I already called my ex who got me into the band and with whom I have seen them like a million times. He is as excited as I am! He may even drive the 200 miles that it would take to see them. I only think it is fair that I take him. I mean, I wouldn't know who they are if it weren't for him. When I saw Quasi for free I called him and let him listen to them for a minute. I met Corin in Eugene with the boy. Good times. Relieved that they are over though. I am going to vent for a minute: I broke up with this boy two years ago to the day. He let me in on that tidbit earlier today. Not in a bitter sort of way, either, which is nice ya know? That was the first ex that I have ever been able to be friends with after the fact. I never thought I could do it.

So, Saturday: mini-golf at 3pm at this place in Clackamas (I'll have to get directions and shit from F), and then dinner at the downtown Newport Bay at 6:30. Hope you can make it! I'll be back in touch as soon as I figure out where the golf-place is. I've been there once. It's fun. My ball spent lots of time exploring the areas around the course.
