Oh yeah, another thing about work yesterday that made it ok was the following story:

Allow me to preface the situation a little bit. My bitch boss is leaving at the end of this month, and a new one will be hired soon. There are a few people in the running.

So, yesterday I answered the phone, and the man on the other end asked for the bitch boss. well, he asked for JR. That is her name. This is the dialogue:

me: "Its a great day at aveda... this is elleseven"

him: "is JR there?"

me: (assuming it is another coworker of mine, because they sound identical on the phone apparently) "nope."

him: "well, is she working today?"

me: "nope."

him: "well, was she?"

me: "yup"

him: "ok...,"

me: "ok, bye jackass." *click*

and then, about ten minutes later the manager who is my friend comes out and asks if I had recently called someone a jackass on the phone. I said of course, I called Jason a jackass. Well, it was the candidate for the position that is most likely going to get the job, as it turns out.

My face went crimson.
