We are leaving here on July 7th. If any of my SG buddies want a post card- send your info to my email addy. I try to check my mail three to four times a week. The reason I'm on here writing now is cuz Citrus wrote me a note. She's a SWEETY. I do need a little help sometimes. (feel free to help prod me out of dispondency) *wink smile*

Not alot going on in my boring ass life. I've just been a bit busy homeschooling my kids. They weren't all that into going back to Catholic school after taking the trip to California. They are both doing well with their studies.
Val's going back to Boston to take care of some stuff at Harvard for 11 days. While she's in the states she is going to pick up some more books for the kitties. Summer bridging books and a cursive and manuscript book. I just realised a couple days ago that my fourth grader hasn't done much cursive this year, if any. I have absolutely no clue why the catholic kids in Ireland don't do cursive at this age. I'm just thankful she started learning cursive at such a young age.

Anyway- I downloaded a grip of mp3s last night. Whoot. I'm excited to listen to them.


One week from Wednesday we are taking a trip across Western Europe with the kids. Should be a good time. We are planning on taking them to LegoLand in Denmark. I'm actually looking forward to that. I still can not wait to get my ass back to the USA. (why?- I guess I just want to be able to drive myself to wherever I want to go. I miss swimming all the time. I miss going to the movies with my girl, Stacy on Thursday nights. I even miss going to the gym- as nutts as that sounds. I miss my furniture. All the furniture in this house that we are staying in looks like dark, shiny stuff. I hate it. I love my rustic, distressed, stuff. I want to sleep in my king size bed with my man. Theres always enough room in that bed when the kids come into the room to cuddle. I miss being able to paint, craft, and do various projects on a whim. Most of all I miss my dog. Good coffee is a thing I use to miss more- before I started detoxing. I could still go for a nice big ass cup of mocha java. MMMMMM.
I love Train- I'm listening to Drops of Jupiter right now. Love it! Damn.
I need to go download Yellow Taxi the Joni Mitchell cover that the Counting Crows did. Paved Paradise and put up a parkinglot. Love that shit. I got the version they did at Lilith fair- with Sarah M and the Indigo Girls. Good tunes.
