A long time ago I saw this sticker on the internet that this chick had created- it's a sticker that you put on a kid out in public if their parents aren't watching them well. I wish I could find it. I want to show it to my friend, Stacy. It was something like a Teddy Bear with it's head parshly cut off and the stuffing hanging out and it read- I got close enough to your kid to put this sticker on them.

For the hairballs, you can buy hairball 'lube' at your local pet store or vet. It's usually a form of petroleum jelly that's flavored. Otherwise, you can either put a little vaseline down their throat, or if they aren't that cooperative, put a blob of it on one of their feet, so they have to lick it off.
