Haven't updated for a while so here goes.

Spending a quiet Fourth weekend at home... except for today I'm working at the 3D Center on NW 19th and Lovejoy in Portland. Will be going early like very soon so I can have my favorite breakfast at Emmanons on NW Lovejoy just a couple of blocks away from the center. It's a quiet little friendly resturant/bar, at least it is in the am.

We now have a part time employee at the center so it only takes one of us members to volunteer so that there are two there and now we're open Thursday thru Sunday 1:00 - 5:00.

Wanting to get a new computer soon but I want one that is fairly mobile and has ultra high res like say... what are they now... SXGA is 1280 X 1024, but then there's WXGA at 1366 X 768 (must be HD) and there's even VXGA for 1600 X 1200... It all depends on how deep your pockets are. Whatever provides exceptionally good viewing for photos is what I would like and something to replace my old dino-sour Athalon 750 Megaherz Windows 98 machine I'm typing on now. How embarrassing is that? biggrin

My time at the Center went well on Saturday. Not many visitors but the slide show, (first time I projected it or even saw it), was excellent. Eighty stereo slide pairs shown on two stacked Kodak carosel projectors and it was about this guy who took a photo trip through the back roads of Madagascar. He was using a stereo camera. The images were absolutely stunning... It will be shown Thursday's thru Sundays the rest of this month and a bit into August. SEE IT on NW Lovejoy just off NW 19th Street in Portland, OR smile
