Sunday, the day before Memorial day, drove to Cottage Grove and took in the Outlaw type Sprint car races there Sunday night and were they exciting. A 17 year old from Langley, BC won the A main feature. Good for him. Haven't seen sprint car races for many years. Stayed overnight with friends there and together, we all sat around the camp telling lies and finishing off 18 bottles of Blue Boar Henry's. The next day, Memorial day, returned home expecting traffic problems on I 5. Lots of troopers scoping us out but everything flowed along well. Tuesday was yard work, then Wednesday back to shipping auto parts which sort of accrued over the long weekend.
It was great to get out of town if only overnight.
