This was actually my third motorcycle ever owned. Bought it used. Some people classified it as a cafe racer but I turned it into more of a touring bike, a 1974 Honda Sport, (4 cylinder), chain drive. It was preceeded by the Honda 350 four that is now somewhat of a collectors item, (which sadly means they probably don't get to go out and run as much).. The Honda 4 was also a great bike, (as long as you didn't mess with the carb balancing too much). Everyone has something from their past that they wished they would have hung on to. This is one of mine.
So last night I submitted 2 photo image pairs of 8 x 10 3D photographs for jurying and as luck would have it, they both were selected to be displayed in our 3D Center of Art and Photography on NW Lovejoy and 19th street in Portland, Oregon.... just had to get that plug in you know. All of our club member acceptances, (there are 18 pairs in all), will be shown starting 18th of February.
Another stroke of luck for me at least is that since they had room to hang a couple right now, they decided to hang mine right away, probably just a stroke of luck but that makes me happy. So mine are there for the public to see now... as of this writing. So now I'm feeling like a little kid that just got a pair of ice skates for Christmas.
Anyway I feel fortunate that they selected both of the photo sets I submitted. Hope they are worthy. I'm not even good enough of a photographer to be classified as an amateur but it will and has definitely stoked my interest in shooting more stuff. Next, I'll work on my writing a bit more, like maybe saying the same thing in fewer words?
That's all for now
