This Saturday night I happened to watch Sound Stage on PBS and the featured singer was Alanis Morissette. What an artist... love her music... her style... the lyrics... in my opinion a great performer. She really puts herself into her music. So today I'll be off to a record shop looking for more of her on CD.

Other than that I'm waiting anxiously for the...

Sometimes you feel like beating your head against a wall...

OK I can stop worrying... Got my final confirmation that my efiling for the effing State Taxes got accepted... The Fed tax got accepted a couple of days ago. I was beginning to wonder if it would be necessary to send it through the mail as well. And what's this acceptance message bull shit? Why...

I feel that way soooo often!

I'm feeling better now. Got a bit depressed because of the back issues but I'm re-focused now and all is well! Thx so much for checking in on me. You are the sweetest kiss
ophelia:
Glad it got accepted, at least. Every time I file mine I get this horrible fear that I filled something out wrong and they're going to arrest me for tax evasion or something.

Saw the movie "Forgotten", (Jullienne Moore), last night. Wasn't expecting too much going in to the movie for some reason but was very much surprised. It kept me in suspense and on the edge to the end. In my opinion, it was a very good movie.

Lots of yard work this weekend, if the weather holds. Still waiting for a gas line fitting at the...

OK, I finally got my old heap running right. Put a Barry Grant Road Demon carburetor on it and a bit more timing into it and it runs like a champ. Put a new throttle plate on it for the new carburetor and adjusted it so it's right there when you hit the gas.... The down side of it is even with just a 305,...

No, you certainly didn't offend me! I'm just a curious monkey sometimes! ooo aaa

I just have a fascination with how people of all different walks of life seem to find one another on this site. I also didn't know about that option in the hookups section.

Egad, i have to do my taxes too, i keep putting it out of my mind. really not looking forward to it, i don't have a math brain.

Hope you have a good day! Take care!

Yesterday we went to Eugene, actually Pleasant Hill to pick up a 401 CID big block Mopar engine from our engine builder. It will then have to be crated up and sent off to a customer in Australia.

Today's one of those days where you don't know which direction it will take. On the one hand I might be taking the greyhound on a walk...

my stresses are the same, but i'm used to them, kind of.

my valiant is no more...well it still exists (i hope) i just don't own it anymore. i had to sell it because, for about 4 months, i had no place to park it and no money to rent a place to park it.... frown . maybe someday i will get to see her again. it was my first car and my favorite, ahhh good times....

Otherwise just trying to stay out of trouble. Need to pick up slide film that Id dropped off at Citizens yesterday and mount the film strip before monday night's final photography...

Saw the movie "... Huckabees" on DVD and it didn't work for me. I'm sure my mind processes information much slower than some because when everyone's talking at once, all I hear is a bunch of buzzing and couldn't hear everything that was said, a very important point for this movie, I'm sure. That was with the subtitles on and that did not help things...

So I took my mother-in-law grocery shopping this morning and the second to the last stop was at the Elephant Deli off West Burnside on NW 22nd Ave. All I can say is WOW! I've never experienced a Deli quite like it. The choices were simply too much. Had this uncontrolable urge for some of their Teriaki Salmon, but at $18.50 per pound the urge...
