I got my third royalty check yesterday. i contributed a chapter to a book my advisor edited about 3 years ago. i think i have made just over $100. I am so rich! Had a happy weekend. Buggy turned 5 on Sat. She had 2 birthday parties. One for her friends and one for family and her cousins that came in that afternoon from Chicago. Why do people have affairs, anyway? Boredom, mostly. Not getting what you want from your partner.
She never felt guilty about it, and even said so at the end of it all. I just didn't want to become a surrogate father. See, as it had started out, it was just a way for us both to have good sex. Then she started pushing her child (which, I might add, she had with the hubby to keep the marriage going...which is a terrible thing to do anyway) on me, saying..."well, I think you'd be a better father than, R... would be."
I had to end it there. I was too young to even consider being a Father.
