I've never really ventured into the world of crime fiction. I've been meaing to see the Mystic River film for a while but I should read the book before I do I guess!

I liked the ending. It was completely shocking, probably b/c I am clueless. It made me love Lehane more than ever. I always have these strange thoughts that anyone could be crazy or mentally ill b/c if you are how would you ever really know. What is reality? What did you think of the ending?
