i had a nice valentine's day and a great weekend so far. it's funny, i always think i'm going to HATE going to the bars on the weekend (ok the BAR. there's only one i go to), but when i get there and hang out with a bunch of fun people, it makes it all worthwhile. sure, it's smokey and loud, and there are some creepy guys there, and sure the particular bar i'm talking about is not much more than a hole-in-the-wall, but the people are fantastic! and most of the time, it's great music. like beck or blondie. or even the beatles. and i get compliments on my kitty collars. and one time a member saw me there (i hear), which is exciting

i rarely drink, but i do, sometimes. the thing is, i don't have to in order to enjoy my weekends there. so and here's to your weekends . enjoy them
