It IS hard to find beauty in a world being destroyed by overpopulation and greed. Lately I have been looking at the small things in an attempt to rebuild my happiness. Things like the beautiful mountains I live in, playing my piano when I can, reading a good book and the like. I like zenFISHs idea of getting a truck and basic necessities and living in a cabin next to a lake. I cook and clean (you know I love cooking) and my loved one would "hunt". mmmmmmh, nice.

That is some find for $5. When I was buying my studio equipment I heard lots of tales of things like that. TB303s in pawn shops for $30. It's crazy what people have found. I once came across an entire basement of vintage analog synths, drum machines, effects, amps, and lighting equipment. I was painting this 60 year old woman's house when the meter man came, so I lead him downstairs and stumbled across the goldmine. Later I found out her son had been a one man band and toured hotels for a living before he had gotten married and moved away. The stuff is probably still sitting there collecting dust. I'd have loved to find a way to get my hands on it all.
Last night, a friend paid me an interesting compliment. He said that my mind reminds him of Philip K. Dick's mind.

I got "You are one twisted broad" once. That made my day.
A couple of days ago, I was in line at a grocery store with a whole bunch of stuff and there was a guy behind me with just one thing, so I told him he could go in front of me. He looked at all the stuff in my cart and said, "All that stuff just for you -- You should go on a diet." Uhhh...thanks.
And EVERYTIME someone looks at my driver's licence picture, they say, "Wow. You were so beautiful. What happened?"

I get really annoyed when people can't spell properly. Especially when people write definately instead of definitely.
