Goddamnit, I am in a RUT. A big fat, stinking, huge style rut.

I've done the right thing in previous incarnations and have amassed quite a sassy wardrobe, but me in my current transition feels like Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink. I'm not sure if I'm going to the Prom, much less feel comfortable in any of the Prom dresses out there in this life.

Vent, vent, go go go, go. I hate my hair, it's all poufy and every which way, chaotic like me, but is no longer stylishly belligerant.

I know what I don't want to be, yet I'm good at it, better to embrace the devil that you know than the one you don't?

If I had to pick a particular style that catches my eye, I'd say it would be the disco glam that I remember as a teeny tot, the Bianca Jagger and Gias, the wafting glamorous aroma of Opium by YSL parfum.

Gimme the Vivas, the Edies, I bet they never gave a fuck about any of that stuff.

I think I will lament this rut in my closet later tonight...after I go to a friend's house for dinner.
