Look what I did this evening.

I got the idea from the Crafty group here on the site....I took a $10 coffee table from a thrift store that needed some TLC and made this....



I got a used Taschen pinup book from a bookstore for $7, got supplies at Home Depot totalling $8.24 and look at the results. Grand total of 3 hours of sanding, tightening, attaching, painting. (I still need to do the lacquering at some point tomorrow). $25.24 plus the time spent, but isn't it beeeyoooteeful?



P.S. I was also listening to Boards of Canada, Miles Davis, Dillinja, Mirah, Skinny Puppy, Happy Mondays, Steely Dan, Chemical Brothers, and a wide range of other stuff. It made the time pass SO quickly.

Please note that The Carpenters rendition of 'Desperado' is far superior to the Eagles' version.
