I'd never been to the East until last week.
Planes, boats, motorbikes, cars, foot. Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York in under 7 days. Small Massachusetts island=
and there is some damn fine food and some damn good people out there in this world.
Adventures. NYC last night, Times Square, the big vacant holes that used to be the WTC, I'm still overcome with emotion after seeing it. It was one thing to be barraged with the replay over and over, but yet another entirely to see it in the flesh. Strange. NYC is has a sinister vibe to it not unlike NoLa. Someone is always watching you...and no, I wasn't afraid, silly. Excitement if anything, climbing in places one shouldn't....et al. One would have to be PLUM LOCO to willfully drive around there, and I have now officially shut the hell up about LA traffic!
I saw lots of things. Someday I will write extensively about it, or it might be trapped in my head forever, like so much of my imagination.
The time is now to NOT let time and the world pass me by.
Fuck, my birfday is next Tuesday.
