If I am able to go outside, these Stella McCartney for Adidas winter boots have been a LIFESAVER. They really do feel like pillows strait-jacketed to my shins. The traction is amazing for when the ground goes out beneath you through no fault of your own. I got them for $25.00
And right now, I have GOT to take care of some kitties who are waiting for me. It's just above freezing right now so if I am able to get there, now would be the best time to attempt to do so.
