It's fitting too with the holidays and all. Her face there captures so much about her, but I think her humor and lightheartedness, especially, at least the appearance of it to me in so many of her pictures.

She has such a fascinating backstory in addition to her timeless catalogue of images. Most people can only hope to live to 85, and I really hope that more photos of her are unearthed by private collectors or an authorized biography? Something! I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would be interested.
I thank you so much, Bettie Page, and am forever inspired by your timeless influence and wonderful ability to roleplay. Even in the serious tone of pics like these, I smile at the thought that you were making your own costumes and were making more money modeling than you would have as a teacher or secretary. Most importantly, you were unashamed of the human body and nudity. The world is forever indebted to you.
