There. Today will be officially registered in my life as a day from hell. 
Although I am not exactly in Seattle yet, I'm no longer in Los Angeles. 1000 miles of driving in 2 days. Whoa.
I've made a pit stop in Portland, hanging with some friends.
My kitties are fairly traumatized, but then again so am I. FrankenJetta needs to recover and I need to figure some stuff out before I get to Seattle. Make a ton of phone calls, for starters.
Get that jobbie job thing.
Enjoying 2008 and not getting killed by some wayward folk in Curtin, OR.
It was a scene reminiscent from Deliverance and I was waiting for the banjos to go along with the woman missing her three front teeth. She practically accosted me as I was having car troubles on the side of the road. My cats were none too thrilled as well, but I figured that even with the car overheating, we'd still be a lot safer in 30 something odd degree weather locked inside the car.
Here's to safer travels in the future!
