I think that I am going through some kind of midlife crisis already. I've lived enough for at least several lifetimes, and some of them are but a faded memory. (And that is a good thing)

I also seem to be a social pariah, but for a change, it's them, not me. The only thing I might be guilty of is being an incredible hermit, they on the other hand, are as fake as can be. To hell with them.

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

That's the best quote that I can find to describe what I am going through at the moment.

I'm about to embark on a major physical transformation yet again, the rusty metabolism is failing me, and I am generally dissatisfied with my energy levels. I'm going to lighten up in a few ways.

This feels like the best step to take now.

And taking a page out of zenFish's journal, feel free to recommend some reading materials for me.

In the past little while, I've read a few.

Ask and It Is Given by Abraham Hicks
Out of Gas: The End of the Age of Oil by David Goodstein
In the Country of Last Things by Paul Auster

I've just started to finally read On the Road by Kerouac.

Please give me some recommendations. smile

antenna:
Bad Wisdom, by Bill Drummond and Mark Manning

Good luck!
