I'm actually extremely excited about an interview I have tomorrow. Wish me luck. (Oh, and run, don't walk to see Walk the Line, AMAZING flick!)

My life has been moving in very interesting directions lately! If I was able to list every job that I've ever had on one mile long resume, it would boggle your mind. Seriously.

Someday I'll go in depth about the time that I had to escort David Lynch (yeah, that surreal director person guy) out of the retail store of Trashy Lingerie. surreal doesn't begin to cover it.

I'm very grateful for all of the experiences that I've had, all of the illustrious personalities I've met, and most importantly, for the knowledge that I've accumulated throughout my 31 years.

Oh my. Has it been that long already? A very cool girl at work the other day asked me two questions. Firstly, if I was 21. (!!!) Secondly, if I had a spare ID to give/lend her since she wanted to go out to a club, and she's only 20. (!!!)

To look younger, I give you these words of wisdom:

1. Avoid drugs, alcohol, and the sun. Most importantly, the sun, as you can't live without it. Drugs and alcohol are easy in comparison, LOL. Sunblock daily, as one year of incidental unprotected exposure is equal to one WEEK of baking at the beach in the summer. eeek

2. Drink water. As much as you can. Your skin and other organs will thank you forever.

3. Exercise. As often as possible, remember that every little bit adds up. Stretch often. Flexibility is key and cardio is a must.

4. Regarding nutrition and food, think quality. Stop eating right BEFORE you are full. As for treats and craving trigger foods, you know what the goodies taste like. It's not like anyone's deprived you of foodie goodness, so why not eat treats rarely so you can appreciate them more? Minute on your lips, lifetime on your hips. tongue

5. Take vitamins, and read as much as you can about them. A great vitamin primer is Earl Mindell's Vitamin Bible.

6. Meet your magic sleep number. Everyone's is different. For years I thrived on less than 6 hours, but now it appears to be 7-7.5. Keep a consistent sleep schedule, and do not oversleep on your days off.

7. Less stress. Life is too short to worry about things that you cannot control. Let your feelings and thoughts run rampant, they're yours and are neither right nor wrong, necessarily, but it's your actions that can be right or wrong.

8. Never ever stop learning, even if it's painful. Pain equals growth, and by now, you'd think that I was an expert at life. wink

Feel free to add on, and have a great start to your week. smile

Water and sleep! Those are the two that I think most people forget the most. Although suntan lotion probably ranks right up there as well. I am like you and basically cannot get away with not wearing it, so I find myself chuckling over those who fry themselves silly every year. There's never any result from telling them either. They just don't believe! whatever

This entry makes me realize how much I miss you! kiss

My add-on: Listen to at least one piece of music every day you've never heard before.

Oh, and pursue your interests to the fullest, and don't waste time on empty obligations. Life's too short. biggrin

Edited to add - I soooooo miss your rooftop. Best rooftop I've ever spun thoughts sitting upon.
