These are some horror movie trailers.

I saw a lot of these movies before the age of 10. surreal

I Spit On Your Grave (apparently going to be remade)

Maniac

Motel Hell

Color Me Blood Red ('macarbe')

I Dismember Mama (nice song at the end)

The Funhouse (this one really freaked me out way back when)

Have a great weekend!

I might recommend Clive Barker's new one, Midnight Meat Train.
lankakitten:
He says "reassess" but he means "pine over and eventually stalk."

I loved your sunblock sermon! Very, very helpful.

Hey, tell me a bit about your kiddos.

I have a confession to make:

When I was little, I wanted to be the Sun Maid raisin box girl because I thought that the red bonnet would solve all of my problems like magic.

So I'm feeling better from the bronchitis. Awesome.

Things are going along.

I've got some ideas for a new burlesque gimmick, as it were, but it will be a lot...

When I was little, I wanted to be Laura Ingalls Wilder.

You should be the Sun Maid raisin girl for Halloween!

(I grew up near the raisin capitol of the world and the location of Sun Maid--Selma, CA.) wink

Luckily it has been quite some time for me. But that card is pretty amusing cuz I definitely qualify as someone who never lets anyone do something for me when I'm sick but notice when it's not at least offered. smile Feel better.
lankakitten:
Hey sickie.
I though you should put nothing under spf 30 on your skin. If you put on a tinted moisturizer of spf 15 does that mean you should apply sunscreen first?

God I think about the lamest shit, don't I?

WEEK IN RECAP:

RIP Paul Newman.

Nick Cave was great, but the opening band was a snooze fest that I almost needed quaaludes to endure. Fact: Mr. Cave should get rid of his creepy pedophile used car salesman moustache. He sung at and pointed a finger at me. I managed to get this photo of him that wasn't half bad. Damn vaseline diffuse glow iPhone...

Grrr, so jealous, maybe he will come to SD. I hope!

Things are going as good as humanly possible. biggrin
How about you?

And a resounding yes to fishnets. biggrin
jonnyjonnyh:
Yah I was originally planning on rocking a pinstripe black dress shirt and a black tie combo. Today though I was considering one of my ben sherman shirts to rock the tattoos.

I'm off to see this guy.

I still think that they were one of the best couples.

I want to hear about these two near-fights you got embroiled in. wink

I was thinking of it Tuesday night while he was on stage, but Nick Cave is like Neil Diamond mixed with a liberal dose of Iggy Pop.
it_thing_hard_on:
Color me certifiably intrigued. I don't know what that color looks like, but I'm guessing it's somewhere between goldenrod and puse. wink

I can see that. That mustache of his definitely needs to go. He's beginning to look like Marilyn Manson did in Jawbreaker.

And tell me Blixa didn't look exactly like what you picture when you think of Rasputin. biggrin

After being reminded about Sarah Palin's thing with the rape kits, this is what a co-worker said:

"I don't care. I fully support anyone who is pro-life, no matter what. That's my policy."

I see. surreal

What year and what country are we in?

jonnyjonnyh:
burtlo's reasoning above is flawed. The McCain-Palin camp made Palin's "knocked-up daughter" a political issue. Therefore it's fair game. Obama has not made his "mama (who) is trash!" a political issue.
lankakitten:
Nothing frightens me more than pro-life. Eek.

I use Wordpress for my sites PetTheVote and my personal blog (I'll send you a link in PM). I set up Wordpress for Tuffy (lil-tuffy.com) but he hasn't customized it much.

If you need any help just let me know.

Nice new profile pic. I must go buy a new razor to remove the vast (cough) quantity of facial hair that has appeared over the last week.

I can't ever remember a time on this site before now where I have seen so many comments and profiles that lead me to people that I immediately place on IGNORE. Current friends and those I have bookmarked, excluded, obviously.

Pretentious, aggressive, and utterly self-absorbed are good descriptions of some of these profiles.

And this isn't a get off my lawn you dumb kids kind...

The Angelica's Kitchen Cookbook has a great selection of recipes, many of them without any soy products at all. Although I'm starting to believe that Real Food Daily could go toe-to-toe in that department.

For lingering. Although a recent purchase at Kiki turned out to be extremely well functioning as well as a nice on the eyes.

Oh man I was definitely eyeing the Jasmine line of products, but I decided that the shampoo/conditioner for chemically treated hair and hairspray would have to suffice. Maybe next time.

Oh I second the recommendation for Animal, Vegetable, Miracle. I really, really loved that book.
