Yep I go to a CSU. We have winter term here in January and it is only a month long, so we don't start spring semster until February. I think we are the only CSU that still does that. Another student and I are working on our professor's research. We are using some amino acids to try to synthesize a compound that is found in nature, but can only be extracted in small amounts. To be of use you have to have a lot, so we are synthesizing it, or will hopefully be sythesizing it.
It's okay if you are a chem nerd. I am one too. You should join the Chemistry Group. It has been pretty quiet in there, but kind of fun none-the-less.
