I also found out that my family name came from Lorraine, France. I knew I had some French in me, I just never had any proof until now. My ancestors used to own some town in France, they were nobles (true story) and they were known for their music and good wine. It's crazy. I'm actually feeling compelled to make a trip to France to explore this town in Lorraine. I googled the state (or is it a territory?) of Lorraine and Ancolie was kind enough to also send me a pic and Lorraine looks soooo beautiful! I feel like it is just beaconing out to me now since I've seen those pictures. Some deep down voice keeps saying, "Go to Lorraine, you must hurry! Go to Lorraine."
We'll see what the future holds for me in regards to going to France.
