The problem with making coffee out of little bags in the morning is that I have to throw them out before I tend to my addiction. Every morning, I lack the grace, and the little bag leaves a little coffee smear down the wall. How very glamourous am I.

The problem with making coffee in a little Moka Pot is that before one can collect one's need, one has to screw the two pieces together. I am not the most graceful creature in the pre-dawn – I walk into furniture so frequently that one could use my startled cries as an alarm clock – and the complicated mechanics of screwing two circles together is well and truly beyond me; half of my expensive columbian stimulation ends up in a pile on the floor.

In my mind, my Moka Pot talks like an overly stimulated hello kitty, with associated head tilting.

The problem with making coffee in a pretty chrome scion of industry is that they cost thousands of dollars. That is all though; I might not be able to navigate a friendly little pot, but I can negotiate a complicated mechanical monstrosity in my sleep.

I don't want to clean coffee of my walls, you see?
