I just bought "The Devil puts Dinosaurs here" a few days ago myself, and I have to admit that this album is not just quite good, it's excellent! Alice in Chains are back to former strength with a perfect replacement for Layne Staley (as far as you can replace someone as unique as Staley).
I'm into fantasy myself and claim that I already read most of the better stories and series. If I may recommend "something different", you should take a look at Peter F. Hamilton's "Night's Dawn Trilogy", which basically is listet as Sci-Fi, but actually mixes up Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror and lots of other genres to an astoundingly addictive potpourri of pure storytelling excellence. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
