One of my mice just died. He was one of the three little mice I hand raised (actually hand raised, they were only about 3 days old when I found them....)
He was special, and he's been sick for a while... looks like a cancer..
It's so cold out there, and since we're in an apartment building I have no back yard... so I gathered him up in a tube, and we put him in the trash bin....
He was a small house mouse... and I'm crying and have been for over an hour... even though I knew this was coming...
The mice are 2.5 years old.... and are.. mice.. they are my babies.. and mean as much to me as any human would...
