ok fine fine fine, Ill update my journal. Hmm lets see...
Well the show thats running at the Theatre im working at is going well. Except for some oddities. Well one morning for a school performance an actress didn't show up. For this show im also the light board operator so if a lamp goes out i have to replace it. Well I've had to change 3 lamps and re-gel several instruments. The odd thing is that i'm having to do this on the serveral fernels (sp?). There's only 750 watt lamps in those bad boys so why in the second week in the run am i having to re-gel them twice?
I was talking to my housemates, YOAGY, and he said that gels should burn like that and it could just be a bad batch. So if there are any theatre people out there that works with lights and have ordered Roscolux colours 74 & 79, that have been bad please leave a commit. Also there was one night where no ushers showed up. So the stage manager and I in our head sets seated people and handed out programs. All been an interesting experience.
Welp at the coffee shop im slowly increasing my coffee making abilities. I really like the job, but the place is a bitch to close. Yet, still an awesome job. What else...
Yeah! we started the new D&D campain in the house and we acually have a girl playing!? I think its going to be a good one, but with a bit of a change because we are playing with all evil characters.
