There's been lotsa hype about Autism around here lately, & I thought I'd stick my 2 cents worth in.
I can.
I have a form of Autism called Aspergers Disorder.
I process visual imagery in an unusual way. To most people, it'd be a bit like attempting to navigate through a kaliedescope. Like Dyslexia X 8. Dyslexia is a form of Autism, BTW, or related to it.
One theory is that it is caused by a high testosterone level in the womb during fetal development.
Another aspect of this Aspergers is a tendency towards visual fixation, or fixation in general. I stare. I love staring.
Many Mystics & Saints & Visionaries brains operate similarly.
Clanging, & 'inappropriate' converse is also not uncommon. Like having mild Terret's. (I get to say what no one else dares to).
Oops. Did I say "get to".
Flapping..... I flap like a bird when I'm excited... hehehe

Emotion is a far better motivator for me than Pride, Greed, Envy or Hunger.
