My parents were in town this weekend. Had a good time. Went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, saw the New York Philharmonic, and hiked around upstate, near Peekskill:

The World Series started, and the Tigers lost the first game, and won the second. They're gonna take it.
Last night, I discovered the saddest thing: Mei has left the site.
She was the reason I joined the site, and I totally fell in love with. (I mean, as much as you can fall in love with someone you've never met.) Not only was she stunningly beautiful, but her journals were incredible to read. She is a brilliant writer, and I'm sure is off to great things. We'll miss you, Mei.
