I took a knife skills class today at ICE, and it was so cool! I want to cut vegetables for hours! It was so much fun, and so helpful. And I need a new knife. Well, ok, I need four new knives. (haha, meat-mouths have to buy six).
It was all great until the last five minute, when he cut up a chicken. That was a bit much for my herbivore mind. The sound of him tearing the joints was the worst. But, whatever -- I just looked away and pretended I couldn't hear it. Denial is a powerful thing
In other news, if you don't already own Hank III's new album, Straight to Hell, go buy it right fucking now. I'm not even kidding about that.
Seriously. Why are you still reading this? Go buy it! Quicker!
I've been listening to a lot of country and honky-tonk lately. I mean a LOT. Hank III, Tammy Wynette, Dwight Yoakam, Cash, early George Strait, George Jones, Hank Williams (Sr.)... It's seriously good shit. My soundtrack lately has been all country and metal. And my most embarrassing guilty pleasure, Dream Theater. If you remember one thing from this journal entry, don't make it that. Remember that I like dicing vegetables, and that now I know how to do it right
Also, here's a tip: don't bother giving me a friend request if you haven't so much as commented in my journal. Comment in my journal. Let's chat a bit. Then send a friend request.

I had a deep desire to be Schmendrick the magician growing up.
