bad ass svankmajer indeedy! i might jus have to get the short story/s dvd myself, i've only ever seen his "long" stuff on latenite tv. i'm no mad animationhead, but i'd also recommend "the black dog" by alison de vere, who back in the day worked on the beatles "yellow submarine" -though i'll add that the black dog is in a completely different ani stlyee.
