My level of Mac geekiness is at its all time high at this very moment. I've just finished installing PHP 5, Apache 2, MySQL 5, and Memcache (all from source) on my new 15" Macbook Pro (with PHP 4 running on port 8080), my old 12" Powerbook is on my left so I can get various passwords off it when I need them (I'm also SSH'd to it), my iPhone is syncing to my right, and I'm listening to iTunes on my Mac Mini, which is hooked up to my TV displaying the visualizer, and controlled via VNC.
At least, I was listening to the Mac Mini when I started typing this. It's since overheated and shut off as usual. Its overheating is one of the reasons that I ended up buying a new laptop. My Powerbook's hard drive is completely full and I don't have room for a single movie or MP3/AAC file on there so I've been using my Mac Mini to sync my iPod and iPhone. Unfortunately my Mac Mini is nearly imposible to work with due to the shutting off, so I decided to consolidate everything on this new computer which has 160GB to play with.
When I do have to use the Mini to transfer files or sync things or whatever it's such a hassle because its balanced on an ice pack and controlled by a laptop balanced on my lap. I suppose I'll have to take it back to the Apple store, but it's a few years old and I didn't get AppleCare for it so it seems like the cost to repair it won't be worth it. It works ok when it's just doing one thing at a time, so I'll probably keep it for watching movies until it dies.
Up next: installing Subversion and figuring out how to transfer everything from the Powerbook.

Update: After several hours of ./configure --blah-blah-blah; make; make install (and tracking down obscure bugs) I've got my dev environment set up. I've got a couple more things to do but it's 100% useable right now. Perhaps I'll tackle Trac tomorrow. I've used it quite a bit but I've never installed it before.
I think I'll read for a couple hours now so I don't dream in code. I hate that.
