I was just watching a reality tv show called Bondi Rescue, a show about surf life savers on Bondi Beach.
On this particular episode, a skater stacks it at the skate bowl and breaks his arm.

The stricken skater is attended to by paramedics, given an IV, oxygen, and morphine. The dedicated medical professionals remained at his side, until the Police Rescue Squad arrive to gurney him from the gaping maw
of the skate bowl.

I sustained a similar injury taking an ill-advised drunken short cut home across a concrete abutement, just before Christmas.

I walked it off, and caught a cab home.

I sought medical attention a day later because my GP doesn't bulk bill on weekends.
