Crossfire by Stevie Ray Vaughan
I first came across SVR in guitar mags. I was amazed reading about him learning that he was almost completely self taught with no formal training and just some minor guidance from his brother Jimmie Vaughan. I immediately looked up his work. I would say crossfire is my 2nd favorite SVR song behind Pride & Joy and above Texas Flood. The Blues isn't really my style but I tend to find someone/something from every genre that I enjoy. I also feel like I need to have at least one or two artists from every genre in my collection. I don't know if I would call SVR my favorite blues player, he is certainly one of the best up there with the greats like B.B., Buddy Guy, Clapton, and the others.
