So when I made part 1 I figured I would put up 2 or 3 that day....and that didn't happen so the flooding never happened. Today will be that day however. I have a5 made up and I just need to post the actual blogs about them. You may tend to see many artists repeated. I tried to make sure I wasn't using the same artists over and over but with the themes on hand that happened with a few artists.

This one with be my SG Summer Love Playlist. Its kinda funny that summer is coming to an end for most and I am just now getting around to them. With this playlist I focused on songs that have the summer vibe or were about distant love since many spend summers apart from those they love be it due to vacations, school being out, or whatever.

Cat Power - Sea of Love

Mellow like summer and a classic love song.

A Day to Remember - If It Means A Lot To You

Love, Longing, and Distance. This song coves everything I think about as summer love, at least in the movie/tv sense of a couples months of bliss followed by separation and reality.

Summer vibes and dealing with the distance.

So I think this is the 3rd Dirty Heads song I have used in a SG playlist so far. They just have the So Cal sound that to mean sounds like summer and life in So Cal in general.

Iration - Falling

A song about falling in love with someone you meet at a concert. Could happen any time of year but we all know summer is concert season.

Matisyahu - We Will Walk

This song makes me think of a summer fling coming to an end.

Sublime with Rome - Lovers Rock

I was super into this album for a minute when it came out. Now I can't stand Rome and hate that they are continuing using the Sublime name with 2/3 of Sublime not being involved. The album does have song great tunes, can't deny that.
